Bread, butter & anchovies



Yes, as simple as it sounds.

Just good quality bread, butter, marinated anchovies and you are done.


Apparently, it was created by Giulio Cesare in one of his trips to Milano, in this dish you have the saltiness of the sea (Roma with the anchovies) and the sweetness of mountains (Milano with the butter) in a piece of bread.

INGREDIENTS


Bread

Butter

Marinated Anchovies


METHOD

Drizzle your bread slices with some olive oil on both sides, and over a grilled pan (or frying pan) lightly grill them. Set aside.


Spread a little layer of butter on top of the bread.


Top it with a fillet or two anchovies.


Finito!
