5 recipes to use ricotta in different ways



Ricotta is one of the cheeses I always have in my fridge.

We all know how good it is just on its own with a drizzle of good olive oil and a crack of pepper, but ricotta is so much more.

It’s so versatile that it can be used for savoury dishes to desserts. Spread on fresh bread, tossed in pasta or even baked.


Here are some of my favourite recipes using our beloved ricotta.


I’ve topped the classic tomato risotto with a couple of my favourite ingredients, and the result is a flavour bomb in each spoonful.



A super quick and easy pasta dish. Creamy Ricotta & Lemon Pasta ready in less than 7 minutes. You will be surprised how quick and delicious this dish is and the lemon zest is a key ingredient.



This pasta recipe has not had many ingredients but the secret is in those roasted cherry tomatoes. By roasting them you bring out the sweetness and once you stir that ricotta through the pasta, you will be speechless.



The sweet ricotta meets the tartness of the amarene jam.

A great combination for a show-stopping dessert.




There is something about the combination of ricotta and lemon that I can't get over.

Whether in sweet or savoury dishes, it's always a winner.
